Short of spending alot of money, here are some ideas for making your home show and sell.
Mow the lawn if needed. Pull the weeds.
If there is alot of clutter in anyroom, put some of the clutter away. Even if you have to pack up some of your nicknacks. The less in a room, makes a room look bigger.
Open the window coverings when you know people are coming to see your home.
Turn on ceiling fans in all rooms, especially if its warm outside.
It is very important for the kitchen and bathrooms are spotless. The less on the counters is better. Looks like more space. Put the lids down on the potties and close shower curtain or doors.
A good smelling house is a definite plus. Cookies baking, warm apple pie, or a good plug in air freshner.
Hide the kitty litter.
Try to make sure there is no cords or anything else that someone may trip over .
Try not to be home. People can really look and not feel intimated about looking at others home. Even if your just parked down the block.
